Gift Idea!

I've been working on several ideas for gifts lately and this is one of my favorites by far! Somebody gave my daughter {2 years old} this gift a few months ago and I think it is my favorite thing she has ever  gotten. It goes with us everywhere! What could be so great? A crayon roll! It is a little pouch that neatly tucks away all of your crayons so that you can take them with you in the diaper bag. Not only does Evey LOVE to get them out and color when we are out places (especially at dinner!), but she also loves that each crayon has its own spot and she can put them back where they belong. We literally get this out every time we go out to eat. Pair this crayon roll with these disposable coloring place mats and you have a great gift! These place mats are always in our bag too! They are both sure to entertain long enough to have a meal :).

Christmas Appliques

Here are some Christmas appliques I have gotten recently. As soon as I finish my Thanksgiving orders this week, I will be starting on Christmas outfits!

Turkey Applique

Here is a picture of how the turkey applique looks after being washed. It is called the "raggy turkey", so the fabric frays in the wash to give it a raggy look. I think it is super cute!!

Thanksgiving

I've finally gotten around to making some Thanksgiving outfits for the kids and they turned out really cute! Let me know if you are interested in a Thanksgiving outfit with the turkey applique (I also have a cute pumpkin applique)!

I'm Back!

Now that I have had a couple of months with my little man at home I am finally ready to start taking more orders! I have been doing a few projects here and there and I am so excited to start doing more! As anxious as I have been for cooler weather, I feel like it kind of snuck up on me! But, I am SO excited for fall and everything that comes with it...pumpkin patches, Halloween, Thanksgiving, etc! I love it all and can't wait to start sewing and monogramming for this season!

Maternity Leave

Just wanted to let everyone know that I will be taking "Maternity Leave" from custom clothing orders starting July 15! I will still be doing monogramming and baby gifts, but it might take a little longer than normal to complete the orders. I just need a couple of weeks to prepare for this new baby and then I'm sure I will be spending lots of time cuddling, feeding and changing a newborn!

Check out the "Monograms" tab at the top of this page to see several of my font options for monograms, as well as a few appliques I have started doing. The Cade font below looks really cute as a one-letter applique on a burp cloth, onesie or t-shirt. I will post some examples soon!

Football Time Already?

Here in the South we are already starting to think about football season and what better way to show your school spirit than on your baby! Here are a couple of things I have done lately. I can customize any colors, fabrics and threads to coordinate with any school colors.

June Special!

For the month of June I am offering a special for Chasing Charlie orders! If you order a custom outfit during this month, I will add a monogram for free! It can be a dress, diaper set, jon jon or bubble and I will even offer it to those ordering custom bloomers or shorts along with a t-shirt.

Also, I wanted to let everyone know that I added the option for gift wrapping and there is no additional charge for it. That makes it a little easier to send baby gifts when you can't make it to a shower or birthday party. Below is a picture of the gift wrapping. It is a simple white bag with with tissue paper and I will use fun ribbon tailored to boy or girl gifts.

More Brother/Sister Oufits

I have been dying to use some of the new fabric I got last week, so when someone ordered a baby bubble out of the blue seersucker with sailboats, I just had to make Evey a diaper set that would coordinate! This is definitely making me want a little boy so I can make matching brother/sister outfits!

New Fabric!

I have lots of new fabric options available! Most of the fabric you see below can be used for any size clothes and a lot of the fabric will coordinate for reversible outfits or brother/sister outfits. I also have more options available for smaller items such as burp cloths, bloomers, etc. If you are in Birmingham feel free to email me and you can come by to see everything I have.
